A warm wind whispers Secrets it's suppose to keep Twilight lingers Letting shadows out of their seat Wind chimes play a haunting tune As jasmine fills the air with bloom Listen closely and you will hear All the answers the world will share Breathing in you feel the peace You have been struggling to embrace You hug it tight and know so deep At this moment you are complete

I sit here in my  loneliness Shedding these dark tears I want to feel you with me But all I can do is fear That you are gone for good To never to come back again The love we once had Has now come to an end But the ray of light shines bright For you're there by my side You came back to me You couldn't say goodbye I am back in these strong  arms Forever I will stay You are my love my lifetime And I will love you everyday

Silence echoes through the Darkness Screaming in my ears. The deafening sound silence makes Brings the burning tears. Silence echoes through the Darkness Making it hard to think. The louder the silence gets The worse the pain it seems. Silence echoes through the Darkness Screaming through my ears Silence echoes through the Darkness Will the silence ever end?

The light receded into darkness, making the shadows grow. Giving way to the fear of the blackness below. The deep, dark night slowly rose, making it hard to breathe. Gasping for air, the light gave in letting the darkness heed. At the striking of the midnight hour, the shadow fell into place. The quietness of the shadows made the light give it's space. As the hours rolled on, the dark gave in allowing the light to breathe. The light peeked out of the shadows where it took it's final heed.

Lying here staring at the four blank walls Drowning in the silence Breathing in one sharp breath Praying for redemption Holding back tears that want nothing more than to fall The broken sobs, breaking through Needing the release The sharp intake of breath Praying for control Fighting off the urge to scream into the night Wanting, for one moment, a small ray of light Unable to hold it back You scream and scream and scream As the last echo of screaming drifts The light breaks though for a brand new day To do it all again The endless cycle that has become A living nightmare, it seems The smiling face everyone sees Is just a painted expression it weaves For as night draws near You know you are bound To relive the silence again

Why the journey, why the thought Reliving the words of when we fought Sitting here thinking, thinking so loud So loud that it deafens out all other sound Wishing and hoping to take it all back That whispering scream that this is the last Wondering how we took it this far How did we let this drift us apart Drifting at sea with no course of direction The thought of losing that protection Pleading and praying for us to go back Back to a time with happiness in tact Please don't let this be the end Maybe this is just a change in the wind
